The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Regional Sales Support Manager. As a Regional Sales Support Manager, you will support the region for sales, marketing and data analysis. Major components of the role are: develops and writes and responds to Requests for Information/Proposal/ Quote (RFI/RFP/RFQ) for submission to prospective and current clients in response to specifications. Additional responsibilities include preparing presentations based on previously submitted proposals and the development and updating of materials that assist field offices with business development activities associated with local business opportunities. Regional Super User for Sales Force. MBD On-Boarding help. This individual will support General and Business Development Managers in sales and marketing efforts. Assist in running reports and analyzing data for SVP and VP Sales in the region.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Write proposals using the input obtained from all sources in a concise, responsive, logical fashion while ensuring that the information provided complies with the specifications

  • Analyze the requirements of an RFP and decide what information needs to be included in the proposal

  • Coordinate with field offices and Headquarters departments to determine how to further develop appropriate responses to bid requests

  • Conduct any additional research that is required to develop the responses

  • Disseminate proposals to clients by required deadlines; provide necessary copies to field offices, Managers of Business Development, and Headquarters staff

  • Plan and prepare PowerPoint presentations for new and previously submitted proposals

  • Assist field offices with the development of their proposals; make recommendations regarding the content, style and format of the proposal; may write sections of the proposal as needed; provide field management with information regarding lessons learned from other proposal submittals

  • Edit generic material for Corporate Business Development and field offices based on feedback from management

  • Manage the assigned members of the bid team to ensure that required cost data is thorough, accurate and submitted on schedule

  • Coordinate with Business Development/GM team with strategic marketing; manage leads & database for sales leads

  • Assist with and support enhancing and promoting branding for G4S and strategic planning for the region


  • Sales Force Super user for region; provide initial training and help desk support for General and Business Development Managers

  • Run and analyze report/data for SVP and VP of sales

  • Bid Prime/Onvia regional admin/user

Job Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Proven and measurable track record of sales accomplishments or high potential for success in sales that can be measured

  • A minimum of one year of experience in proposal development, presentation design, sales and/or marketing support

  • Expert level ability utilizing Word and PowerPoint for building presentations

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
