As a Senior Corporate Accountant, your responsibility is to assure the integrity over the financial position and reported results of operations of Commercial Security Services within the company and assist the operational units in achieving their goals.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide accounting for profit and loss statements on a monthly basis for the field offices and for Domestic business unit overheads to ensure correctness, compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and operational goals are being adhered to

  • Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to assure correctness, compliance with IFRS, proper functioning of controls as well as the financial well-being of the company

  • Work with field and local headquarters management in effort to help in understanding the reported results of operations, explain variances, develop trends and make recommendations where applicable for improvement in earnings

  • Assist in the budget process

Job Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or other related business major

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and/or financial management

  • Work history must in include the demonstration of advanced Excel skills (e.g., Macros)

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Active listening skills

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected
