As an ISOC Security Alarm Monitoring Officer, you will ensure effective operational security measures are performed to control access and protect against theft, intrusion, and prevention of industrial espionage in accordance with established policies, plans and procedures.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions




  • Implement Site Security Programs and Procedures

  • Implement Emergency Action Plans for Bomb Threat, Terrorist Attack, and site Security Procedures Manual

  • Perform WPO Intrusion Detection monitoring

  • Perform Intrusion Alarm response

  • Facilitate repair of access control devices. (CCTV, alarm monitoring equipment)

  • Facilitate the testing of access control equipment in accordance with established protocols

Job Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required




  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license



Type and Length of Specific Experience Required




  • Prior work experience in an Intrusion Alarm Monitoring Station

  • You will need to possess one of the following:
    • A minimum of one year of successful security-related experience

    • Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline

    • Service in active duty military, military reserves or National Guard

    • Service in auxiliary police or police cadet

    • Meaningful and verifiable work history

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected



Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting
